3-D Print a Sweet Heart
Scientists can grow tissue in a lab, and are working on growing organs to use as transplants and save lives. Now they can use 3-D printers to print a scaffold out of sugar! The sugar structure serves as a base for tissue to grow on, and it later dissolves, leaving pathways for blood vessels. Sweet!
