215 Pterosaur Eggs Found in China

Scientists unearthed 215 fossilized pterosaur eggs in China, including 16 that contained preserved embryos. Pterosaurs were flying vertebrates that lived 120 million years ago in the Cretaceous period. Researchers think the soft-shelled 3 inch long eggs were so well preserved because a flood washed them into the bottom of a lake.
