Basking Sharks are Huge but Gentle

Basking sharks are among the largest fish in the ocean, second only to the whale shark. These gentle, 35 foot-long sharks, eat plankton while migrating huge distances through the oceans. Scientists have tagged 7 basking sharks with transmitters, to learn more about the vulnerable creatures, in order to protect the remaining population.
