Don’t Melt the Instruments

Artist Tim Linhart had been making snow and ice sculptures for years, when he decided it would be cool to sculpt a violin from ice. After perfecting a playable violin, he created a whole fragile ice orchestra. Performances take place in the Ice Dome, a 200-seat igloo in the northern Italian Alps.
