Erupting Stromboli is Piping Hot

A volcano in Italy is spewing lava into the sea! The Stromboli volcano had a major explosion in early December which started a new flow of lava. Nicknamed the Lighthouse of the Mediterranean, it’s been extremely active for the last 2000 years, erupting almost non-stop since 1932. Stromboli is an Aeolian Island near Sicily.
