Great Geen Wall Improves Land
12 years ago, many countries in Africa joined together, to start planting a wall of trees across the continent. The Great Green Wall of Africa spans 6000 miles, across the southern edge of the Sahara Desert. The band of acacia trees has already helped provide work, food, and water to surrounding countries, and it’s only 15% complete!
