High-Altitude Frogs Discovered

A new species of frog was discovered, on a tabletop mountain in Ecuador, at an altitude of over 6500 feet. It’s been named the Hillis torrent frog, and it’s already endangered due to mining. The frogs are speckled with gold, or tiger-striped, and have an unusual claw-like growth at the base of the thumb.
