Planets Detected in Distant Galaxy

The Kepler Space Telescope has spotted many new exoplanets in our galaxy, but for the first time, multiple planets have been detected in another galaxy! Astrophysicists used gravitational microlensing to observe disturbances in light waves coming from a quasar 6 billion light years away. They discovered 2000 planets 3.8 billion light years away!
