Tiny Tyrannosaurs Still Packed a Punch

2 tiny tyrannosaurid skeletons, 92 million years old, were found in the Zuni Basin in Mexico. They were only 3 feet tall, the size of a coyote. The Zuni word for coyote is suski, so it’s named Suskityrannus hazelae. They lived millions of years before the giant Tyrannosaurus Rex, and although small, the tyrannosurs had ferocious bites!
