Whale Protects Snorkeler

Biologist Nan Hauser was observing some humpback whales while snorkeling in the Cook Islands. One of the whales began pushing her with its nose, tucking her under its fins, and even lifting her out of the water on its head. She realized it was protecting her from a nearby tiger shark!
