Jurassic-period Lizard Fish Fossil found in India
In India, a near complete fossil of a giant ‘lizard fish’ was unearthed. The fishlike reptile, Ichthyosaur, is from the Jurassic period and was an estimated 18 feet long. Others were found in other parts of the world, starting in England in 1834, but this is the first time one has been found in India.
