Hedgehogs are adorable little balls of spikes, but they can be dangerous if you’re not careful. People have been getting salmonella infections from kissing and snuggling their pet hedgehogs! Just be sure to keep them away from your mouth or food, and wash your hands thoroughly after touching them, and you should be fine!
