I got so excited talking about things on sticks that I forgot to tell you it’s Manatee Appreciation Day! Manatees, also known as sea cows, are slow-moving mammals about 10 feet long. They live in warm shallow waters and graze on underwater vegetation. Baby manatees drink milk from their mom’s armpit!
