Today is Alligator Day! Alligators’ eyes glow red at night, and they can run 35 miles-per-hour on land! In the winter, gators can brumate underwater, which is like hibernation. They leave their snouts above the ice to breathe. Alligator eggs develop into males or females, depending on the temperature of the nest. That’s amazing!
