Pizza Pie and German Cake

Today is Pizza Margherita Day, so forego all the extra toppings, for a simple pie with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil. Sometimes less is more! For dessert, how about some cake? It’s German Chocolate Cake Day! It’s named after Sam German, who developed the dark baking chocolate used in the recipe.
