Little Cat Is a Big Deal

For the first time in a century, a new species of cat has been recorded. The feline is smaller than a house cat, but spotted like a leopard, and lives in Bolivia’s Yungas forest in the Andes mountains. Already known to the indigenous locals as tilcayo, its official species name is now Leopardus tilcayo.
