Did you wake up in a bad mood this morning? Go ahead and be grumpy; it’s Curmudgeons Day! A curmudgeon is a bad-tempered person. It’s also Puzzle Day, and Cornchip Day. There are too many pieces in this puzzle! These chips taste stale! It can be fun to act like a curmudgeon!

18-year-old Natasha Mwansa was one of the teenagers, who spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland last week. She’s a junior reporter and journalist in Zambia, where she fights for the health and well-being of young people, especially against child marriage. She was the youngest winner of the Global Health Leaders Award.

Last week in Canada, quick thinking and coffee saved the lives of 3 kittens. Kendall Diwisch was working outside, when he found the kittens frozen to the ground. Their tails were stuck to a sheet of icy snow. He thawed them to freedom with his coffee, took them home, and found families to adopt them!

Road safety is important, especially if you’re driving a hot dog. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was pulled over by police in Wisconsin, for failing to follow the Move Over Law. If you see a vehicle on the side of the road with it’s emergency lights flashing, you should move over a lane when passing.

How many passwords do you use? Are they secure? Today is Data Privacy Day, a good time to go over the basics of online safety. Never give out your personal information to anyone online, including online quizzes that collect details about your life. And use a string of words for a strong password phrase.

Throw some blueberries in your pancake mix, because it’s Blueberry Pancake Day. It’s also Kazoo Day! Hum your favorite tunes, on an annoying instrument. It’s also Have Fun At Work Day, and Plan For Vacation Day. I guess planning your next vacation while you’re supposed to be working, is one way to have fun!

If you saw the fish in California acting weird last week, they might have been drunk. A tank of Cabernet Sauvignon wine sprang a leak, at a winery in Sonoma County. At least 20,000 gallons of wine spilled into Reiman Creek, and Russian River. Luckily, the river was high, so it quickly diluted the spill.

The SpaceX company’s Crew Dragon spaceship, is preparing for its first launch with an actual crew this spring. Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will be the first astronauts, to use a commercial spacecraft. NASA’s space shuttle program ended in 2011. Since then, astronauts have depended on Russian spacecraft, to get to the International Space Station.

Jon Bon Jovi is best-known for being a rock star, but he also owns restaurants where anyone can afford to eat, called JBJ Soul Kitchen. In exchange for a meal, the New Jersey restaurants let you pay what you want, pay what you can, volunteer, or pay it forward. No one leaves hungry.

Marshmallow Peeps have created some unusual marshmallow flavors in the past. This year’s surprise is Hot Tamale Peeps! To go with your spicy-hot marshmallows, try some Heinz HoneyRacha, instead of ketchup. Wash it down with a coffee Coca-Cola, or Jelly Belly Sparkling Water, then finish your weird meal with a Cotton Candy Kit Kat!
