It must be harder to stack tortillas than you’d think. Mark Valenzuela set a new world record for the tallest stack of tortillas, at 75 centimeters. It took him over 3 hours, to build up to nearly 30 inches, before his tortilla tower toppled. The Indiana professor says, “It’s okay to try and do strange things.”

A recent study showed that sometimes, reassurance from a doctor that you’ll feel better soon, is enough to make you feel better soon! Patients who received encouraging words from their doctor recovered more quickly, than those who were given no explanation about their recovery. Patients need a dose of positivity with their prescriptions!

Turkey has a new incentive for recycling plastic. In Istanbul, you can feed plastic into machines called Smart Mobile Waste Transfer Centers. In exchange, it gives you credit for free rides, on the city’s public transit cards. Istanbul hopes to have 100 machines soon, to help reduce the 17,000 tons of garbage produced every day.

The Siberian unicorn was a mammal that resembled a shaggy rhinoceros. It stood over 6 feet tall, was over 14 feet long, and had one long horn on its head. For decades, it was believed they went extinct 350,000 years ago, until a skull was found in Kazakhstan. In fact, they were still around only 29,000 years ago!

There’s a hotel in Tokyo Japan, that has a reception desk staffed by dinosaurs! When you arrive at the Henn na hotel, robot dinosaurs in little bellboy hats check you in. They activate when guests arrive, welcome them, and use tablets to register them. Some people are slightly unnerved, but most customers love them!

There is a Guinness World Record for “most walnuts cracked against one’s head in one minute,” and S. Navin Kumar just set it. The Indian man smashed 217 walnuts with his head! The walnuts were laid in rows on a table so Kumar could hammer them with his forehead. Ouch!

Is it possible? Could Pluto get to be a planet again? When it was demoted as a planet, the reason was that it couldn’t clear its orbit. Other objects share its orbital path. But researchers found, that reason was seldom used in the past. They think Pluto should regain its planetary status!
