Pizza is awesome. You can keep it simple, a crust with tomato and cheese, or you can put 30 toppings on it! Yay! It’s Pizza Day! It’s also Read In the Bathtub Day. After you eat your favorite pizza, relax in the bath with your favorite book. Just don’t drop it in the water!

Today is Clean Out Your Computer Day. Find an online tutorial, to show you how to clean the grime off the mouse, the dust off the cooling fan, and the crumbs off the keyboard. Once it’s physically clean, start cleaning out unnecessary files. You’ll be surprised, at how much faster a clean computer runs!

Today is Chocolate Day, and also Toothache Day. Is it a coincidence? Or is it a reminder, that eating sweets without cleaning your teeth afterwards, could give you cavities? Schedule a visit with your dentist, then reward yourself with a chocolate taste test. Sample everything from creamy milk chocolate, to extra dark chocolate.

Tardigrades are amazing microscopic creatures. Also called water bears or moss piglets, they can survive in the cold vacuum of space, volcanoes, or deep underwater trenches. They can withstand radiation blasts or live for decades without food or water. Scientists discovered, they’ve transitioned from water to land environments twice, and continue to adapt.

Did you know, it’s Potato Lover’s Day? What way do you love them the most? Have some baked potatoes and hash browns and potato dumplings and French fries and potato chips and home fries and sweet potatoes and tater tots and mashed potatoes and potato skins, so you can make an informed decision.

The Super Bowl takes place today in California. Will this year’s American football champions be the Seattle Seahawks, or the New England Patriots? Maybe you’ll just watch Bad Bunny perform in the halftime show.  Don’t forget the Puppy Bowl, on Animal Planet. It’ll be Team Fluff versus Team Ruff, playing for the Lombarky trophy.

Today is National Boy Scout Day. The Boy Scouts of America was created in 1910. Since then, more than 130,000,000 kids have enjoyed earning 141 different merit badges. The Pinewood Derby, where Scouts design their own miniature wooden racing cars, has been taking place since 1953. Scouts pledge to do their best.

Grab your favorite kite and head outside. It’s Kite Flying Day! While you’re out there, sing a song in your best opera voice. You can listen to some famous opera singers like Luciano Pavarotti or Maria Callas for inspiration, since it’s Opera Day. Finally, celebrate Molasses Bar Day, with a pan of homemade treats!

Today is Take Your Child To The Library Day. Spend some time exploring your library. Look for a new book by your favorite author, check out a book on crafts or science experiments, or read a biography about someone you’ve never heard of. You can even get your very own library card. Have fun!
