An eco-entrepreneur debuted his work, at London Fashion Week. 24-year-old James Marshall collects abandoned tents from music festivals, which get turned into jackets and hats, by fashion designer Imogen Evans. His company, called 10T, will also produce duffel bags made from tent-sheets. There’s an endless supply of broken tents, to recycle into new products.

Tomorrow will be a special day for people born on February 29th. Their birthdate only comes every 4 years! Olive Garden restaurants usually give people free dessert on their birthday, so people born on Leap Day get 4 free desserts on the 29th. Everyone can also get take-home entrees for $2.29. Plan ahead for your birthday meal!

The Moon Planet Center has announced, the Earth has another moon! It’s an asteroid between 6 and 12 feet wide, that got trapped in Earth’s gravitational pull. Although it had likely been a moon for 3 years before it was discovered, 20 20 CD3 might only orbit Earth until April, before the Sun’s gravity nudges it out of orbit.

If you see someone snoozing in public today, they may just be celebrating National Public Sleeping Day! It’s also Tooth Fairy Day. But I doubt the Tooth Fairy will come out in public, so if you lose a tooth today, don’t try to take a nap to get an early visit!

Plastic bags, bottles, and straws are just a few of the plastics polluting the Earth. Take a step to help clean it up, by not using those things in the first place! Today is Skip The Straw Day. If you can’t handle strawless drinking, get a reusable metal or bamboo straw to use instead!

How did you celebrate Pancake Day on Tuesday?  A British sports arena marked the day, by breaking a Guinness World Record! The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium assembled a team of chefs, to cook 1135 pancakes, and place them into a 429.3-foot-long line. Afterwards, the longest line of pancakes was distributed by the Felix Project charity.

Have you ever eaten so much, you couldn’t move? It happens to birds too! Concerned people called animal rescuers in Tennessee, when they came across a bald eagle that seemed injured. The wildlife officers determined the eagle wasn’t hurt. It had just eaten a huge meal, and couldn’t fly until it digested its food!

A company called Adriano Di Marti, has created a new way to make material, using cactus leaves. Desserto is a cloth, which feels like leather. Cactus needs very little water to grow, so it could be a better way to make leather-like fabric, instead of vinyl and other plastic-based materials.

It’s International Polar Bear Day! Polar bears have black skin and hollow transparent hairs that scatter light, making their fur look white! They can grow 9 feet tall and have paws one foot wide. Polar bears live in Arctic sea ice regions, so climate change and melting ice, has caused them to become endangered.

When do toast, strawberries, and chili go together? When it’s Strawberry Day, Toast Day, and Chili Day, on the same day! Of course it’s also Pokemon Day, and Digital Learning Day, so maybe Pikachu can help you find some educational computer games, while you eat your strawberry chili on toast. Yum-yum-yummy!
