Whoever has a piggy bank, raise your hand. Banks are a good way to save money, both for adults and kids. You’re more likely to spend all your money, if you carry it in your pocket! Today is Teach Children To Save Day, so scrounge up some change, and make a deposit!

51 years ago, on April 22nd 1970, Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson created Earth Day. He wanted people to focus on the environment, air and water pollution. It grew into a global movement, bringing the world together to try and keep the Earth clean, prevent global warming, and preserve nature for future generations. Happy Earth Day!

His first step, is cultivating the phuki karpas cotton plant, to create the thread that can handle a 1200-thread count. Modern muslin only has about 80 threads.

Banana Day is a spring tradition at many universities, featuring everything from races to recipes. Everyone can celebrate the perfectly packaged fruit, which is actually a berry! Bananas are a good source of potassium, and taste great in bread, dipped in chocolate, or even on pizza. Bananas get even healthier as they ripen.
