Water Pods Hydrate Runners

The London Marathon drew 41,000 runners last weekend. Instead of gulping water from plastic bottles, the athletes were given biodegradable water blobs! Ooho water pouches are made of seaweed extract, so you can pop the whole thing into your mouth! This was the first full marathon to use the water pods. It was a success!

Picnic-Palooza

Would you like to eat at the longest picnic table in the world? Then plan to visit Memphis Tennessee on May 25th. They are building tables in anticipation of breaking the world record set in March. That picnic table, located in Paris, was 1,315 feet long! I wonder what they’ll have for lunch!

A for Effort?

Do you know how to spell school? If you said S-C-H-O-O-L, congratulations! You get an A! Earlier this month, a Florida road crew, got an “F” in spelling. They painted a school pedestrian crossing, with giant letters spelling S-C-O-H-O-L. The big mistake was soon corrected. Always proofread your work!

Big Bingo

The Gila River Hotel and Casino in Lone Butte Arizona, celebrated their 25th anniversary in a big way. They played a giant game of Bingo! They broke 2 world records, by using a huge 20-by-20 foot Bingo card, and 75 giagantic inflatable Bingo balls. The prize for winning was $2,500! B, 9. BINGO!
