The All-American Soap Box Derby crowned 7 new world champions yesterday, in Akron Ohio. There were 7 different racing divisions, and the winners were Cayson Hayes, Landen Watson, Allison Pankoff, Dylan Swanson, Bradeyn Ditzler, Ashton Grace, and Lane Schlafke. Get involved in a local race near you, and you could be a World Champ next year!

Practice makes perfect, right? Australian musician Scott Burford should be a pretty good guitarist by now. He just set a world record by playing his guitar for 125 hours straight! He had to superglue his skin together after his fingers started to crack. Scott had 500 songs on his playlist, and raised money for Musicians Making A Difference.

There’s a new way to catch and measure electron beams, that’s revolutionized electron microscopes. Instead of building an image based on the location of electrons, it detects the angles of each electron’s reflection. That means scientists can study molecular structures more clearly. They can even measure the bonds between atoms!
