But nature can’t handle all the harmful carbon released into the air from cars, factories, and burning fuel, and many forests have been destroyed. Reducing your carbon footprint, means you’re responsible for less carbon in our atmosphere.

Butter Luck Next Time

The 105th Pennsylvania Farm Show, is holding their “Butter Up” contest online this year. Pennsylvania residents can create sculptures using up to 5 pounds of butter, and submit their photos to farmshow.pa.gov. They’ll be judged on the Pennsylvania Farm Show Facebook page. The annual contest usually has sculptures, made with 1000 pounds of butter.

2021’s First Meteor Shower

The Quadrantids meteor shower will be most visible tonight. The meteors are caused by space debris from a metallic asteroid called 2003 EH1. Because of the nearly full moon, the meteors will be harder to see. They’ll peak earlier in the evening, but you can watch them all night long, if you’re dressed warmly enough!
