Don’t Get Mixed Up!

After knitting and sewing for a while, you may feel the need to get up and move around. Since it’s World Softball Day, organize a game and practice your fastpitch. If you want to keep your distance from others, you’re in luck. It’s also International Axe Throwing Day. Use a toy axe please!

Calling Out Bad Behavior

In response to the ongoing protests against racism and police brutality, some police forces are making changes. Flip Flops and Falafel

What do Friday, falafel, and flip-flops have in common? They’re all fabulous. Yay! It’s Peanut Butter Cookie Day! Mix a cup of sugar, a cup of peanut butter, and an egg together. Put spoonfuls on a cookie sheet, press them down with a fork, and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until they are just barely brown at the bottom. It’s the easiest cookie recipe ever!

5-Year-Old Hits Hole-in-One

Some people play golf their entire lifetime, without hitting a hole-in-one. That won’t be the case with William Kelly. The 5-year-old boy already sank his first hole-in-one, at Florida’s Bridges at Springtree Golf Club. He used a 7 iron, at lucky Hole 13. His ball bounced 3 times, hit the flag, and dropped right in.

Moose Family Day Trip

Last week, a man in Alaska had some unexpected visitors. Roland Rydstrom found a momma moose and her 2 calves, lounging in his backyard! The company is planning to place thousands of satellites in low orbit, to deliver internet service everywhere in the world.

Beautify the World With Kindness

Today is Making Life Beautiful Day. Cleaning your room, planting flowers, and creating art, are all ways to beautify your surroundings. But the best way to make life beautiful, is by being kind. Treat people with respect, don’t discriminate, don’t be a bully, and ask everyone else to do the same!
