Peg the Duck Gets a Leg

Patsy Smith found a duck who’d lost his foot. Peg’s leg injury grew more irritated as he got older, so three eighth graders came to the rescue. Matthew Cook, Darshan Patel and Abby Simmons used a 3D printer to make Peg a new leg! Peg is waddling happily on his new appendage!

3D Printer will Print Rockets

Relativity Space has developed Stargate, the largest 3D printer in the world that uses metal. The company will use it to print launch vehicles. Yes, they will 3D print rockets! The printed rockets will look different because they’ll need fewer parts. Their ultimate goal is to print rockets on Mars.
