The Sharks, Fish, and Turtles Say Thank You!

After Hurricane Irma hit Florida last year, 18 year-old Theo Queenee noticed hundreds of mangrove seedlings in the debris. Mangrove trees are essential to protecting coastlines from erosion, and provide a habitat for marine life. He collected 524 tiny trees and built a greenhouse on his roof. 7 months later, he’s replanted a mangrove forest in a Miami mud flat!
