When John Myers opened “Gaines Universal Register or American and British Kalendar for the year 1793”, he wasn’t expecting it to be an exciting book. But tucked inside the cover, in an envelope marked “Washington’s hair,” was a lock of George Washington’s hair! Incidentally, he did not wear a wig. That hairdo was all his!
