I’ll Take 30,000 Boxes of Thin Mints, Please

Last week in New York City, Girl Scout Troop 6000 held its first cookie sale. The troop is made up of girls who live in homeless shelters, where it’s hard to store cookie shipments. But Kellogg’s Cafe in Union Square let them sell cookies out of their location, and they’ve sold 30,000 boxes of cookies!

Today is National Girl Scout Day, so celebrate with a thin mint or samoa. Or 20! There are Girl Scout cookies everywhere! Then get out your staples, because it’s Fill Our Staplers Day. Finally, celebrate National Napping Day with a nice nap. Daylight Saving stole your hour of sleep. Take it back! You worked hard today.
