That New Newscaster Seems a Little Robotic
Erica is a robot that can hold a conversation with humans. She’s scheduled to become a TV news anchor in Japan as soon as April. Her creator, Hiroshi Ishiguro, designed her to be incredibly lifelike and charismatic. Just don’t be offended when she doesn’t shake your hand; Erica can’t move her arms yet!
