Ancient Chinese Waterway System Excavated

A massive waterway system excavated in the Yangtze Delta region in China is over 5100 years old! The Liangzhu was a Neolithic agricultural society known for their jade objects. Now we know they were also amazing hydraulic engineers! The 18 mile network of canals, dams and levees took around 3000 people only 10 years to build.
