Zoo Rolls Out New Malayan Tapir

A Malayan Tapir calf was born to Mom Bertie at the Minnesota Zoo. The baby looks like a furry black and white striped watermelon with legs! Malayan tapirs are endangered partly due to habitat loss in Southeast Asia from deforestation for oil palm plantations. Tapirs look kind of like a pig with a trunk!
