Kasey Stewart and Julie Berry know how to fill a 4-day weekend. They traveled to all 7 continents in 92 hours, even after a 20-hour flight delay between Chile and Antarctica due to a snowstorm! They stopped in Sydney, Dubai, Cairo, Frankfurt, Toronto, Santiago and Antarctica. Now they have to recover from extreme jetlag!

The world’s tallest topiary sculpture was assembled in Dubai this week. The Dubai Miracle Garden collaborated with the Walt Disney Company to build a 59-foot tall Mickey Mouse out of flowers and greenery. The sculpture weighs 35 tons and is covered in petunias, violas, zinnias, geraniums, and alternantheras. I bet it smells beautiful!

During a 6 hour concert in Dubai, which was the longest live concert ever performed by a child, Suchetha Satish sang songs in 102 different languages! It would probably take most people 6 hours to think of 102 languages!

Steve Guman wants his record back. The New York man creates sculptures out of popsicle sticks, and once held the world record with his 390,000 stick medieval castle. His record was toppled by students in Thailand who created a map using 840,000 sticks. He’s working on a 900,000 stick Roman Colosseum to reclaim his record!

Michigan Tech University was recently overrun by snowmen! Students and community members broke the world record for building the most snowmen in one hour. 2,228 snowmen were constructed during the “Snowman Left Behind” event. They had to be 3 feet high, use 3 snowballs, and have arms, eyes, and a nose, but it was clothing-optional!

Paddy Johnson, Hec Turner, Henry Quinlan and Max Mossman pedaled 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, but not on bicycles. They used a pedal boat, and set a world record by doing it in only 40 days! Named Pedal the Pond, the 4-man team raised 167,000 pounds for the Charlie Waller mental health charity.

The man from Mumbai India has also set speed records for peeling and eating grapefruit and oranges, and eating grapes. It’ll be hard to ketchup to him!
