The US Department of Energy, announced a breakthrough in nuclear fusion. Nuclear fusion combines 2 atoms into 1, creating massive heat. It’s the same thing that happens in the Sun. For the first time, scientists have produced fusion using less energy, than they gained. It’s the first step, to generating clean, abundant energy.

The Sunday River ski resort in Maine, was overrun with Santas last weekend. More than 300 people dressed in Santa Claus suits hit the slopes on skis and snowboards, ringing sleigh bells and ho-ho-ho-ing. The annual fund-raising event, raises money for River Fund Maine, a non-profit that works with youth education and the outdoors.
A girl in California named Madeline, wrote a letter to officials, asking for permission to own a special pet. Instead of a dog license, she wanted a license to keep a unicorn in her backyard. Los Angeles County issued the license, with regulations that it needed to have enough sunlight, moonbeams, rainbows, and watermelon.
