As many places start to lift quarantine restrictions, people might think the world’s back to normal. It’s not! Please keep washing your hands, don’t touch your face, stay 6 feet away from others, and wear a mask. Wearing a mask protects others from droplets of your saliva, because everybody spits a little when they talk.

Saturday’s SpaceX launch was a big success. NASA astronauts are headed to the International Space Station on the Crew Dragon. Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are the first humans to reach orbit in a privately owned spacecraft. The Falcon 9 rocket returned to Earth after separating from the Crew Dragon capsule, to be used again.

The Sound of Silence

I’m sure the lip-puckering lasted much longer. You know what they say; when life gives you lemons, drink lemon juice.

Earning the Title of Prom King

7-year-old Curtis Rogers felt bad for his favorite babysitter, Rachel Chapman, after her Senior Prom was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He decided to invite her to a socially-distanced mini-prom! Curtis wore a purple suit to match Rachel’s dress, they had dinner at a fancy backyard table, and they danced 6 feet apart!

That Floor Needs a Good Mopping

Archaeologists in Italy, spent nearly 100 years, searching for a long-lost villa in Negrar di Valpolicella. They’ve finally located the site, after uncovering a beautiful mosaic floor. The amazingly-preserved tiled flooring, dating back to ancient Rome, was found buried under several feet of dirt. There’s a vineyard growing on top of it!

Whether They Launch Depends on the Weather

Today, for the first time since 2011, astronauts will launch from the United States. NASA’s Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will be the first passengers, on the private company SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. The rescheduled blastoff to the International Space Station is set for 3:22 pm, Eastern Daylight Time, if weather permits. Watch it happen on NASA.gov.
