Evaporating Water Reveals Treasures

Record-breaking heat and a drought, caused water levels to drop in Texas, revealing giant dinosaur tracks. Dinosaur Valley State Park, holds footprints of sauropods and theropods, that were made 113,000,000 years ago. The newly uncovered tracks, likely belong to the 7-ton Acrocanthosaurus and the 44-ton Paluxysaurus. Volunteers spent weeks, cleaning sediment from the tracks.

That’s Sure a Big Ball of Cheese

A city in Mexico, holds the new world record, for biggest ball of quesillo. The pulled quesillo cheese, also known as oaxaca cheese, was prepared by a team in Pijijiapan Chiapas. The finished ball of cheese was more than 3 feet in diameter, and weighed 1,230 pounds! It was served to spectators afterwards.
