Dyslexia is a common learning disability, that can make it difficult to read or write. But some of history’s greatest minds, such as Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Leonardo da Vinci, have been dyslexic. Scientists discovered that people with dyslexia are better at problem solving. They can adapt to challenges and explore the unknown.

Who’re the toughest dudes in the ocean? Sharks, with their 300 teeth? Electric eels, with their shocking touch? Jellyfish, with their venomous tentacles? How about the stonefish, who has switchblade cheekbones! Stonefish have lachrymal sabers, which are bones that deploy horizontally under the eyes, and fold back in after they’ve warned you to back off!

Today is International Mud Day! A lot of animals roll in mud to cool off, and some people put mud on their faces to help their skin. Sometimes it’s just fun to play in the mud! If you can’t find any mud, grab a hose, spray it on some dirt, and make your own!

Today is Handshake Day. Make up a secret handshake to use with your friends, that doesn’t actually touch. Practice a nice firm handshake, that will impress new people you meet. Shake your hands in the air to dry them, instead of using paper towels. Just don’t stick your hands in a milkshake!
