Conservationists were excited to find the large striped animals in a region, where they were thought to be extinct. The Maasai Mau area is not a national park, so it suggests bongos are surviving even without help.

Alice and Gavin Munro sell home-grown furniture, in England. Using a metal frame to form the shape, they grow trees and branches, into chairs. A chair is ready to harvest from the furniture orchard, after 6 to 9 years. Their business, called Full Grown, also plans to help others grow their own furniture.

16-year-olds Vivaan Chhawchharia, Ariana Agarwal, and Avyana Mehta won the Global Earth Prize, for creating a new way to remove microplastics. Their creation, called Plas-Stick, uses powdered tamarind seeds as the base for a clumping agent. It causes plastics to form a mass in water, which can then be removed with a magnet.
