A one-day supply of oil lit a menorah, which is a type of candelabra, for 8 days. Hanukkah is celebrated for 8 days by lighting the menorah to prayers, songs, food, gifts and games.

The San Diego Zoo is home for a new baby Siamang! The Siamang is a type of large, black-furred gibbon, native to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The mom, Eloise, is 37 years old, and the dad, Unkie, is 35. The baby was a happy surprise for everyone!

A huge painting is nearly completed in Wichita Kansas. Horizantes, an art and community group led by Armando Minjarez, has been working on the mural for the last 18 months. The artwork, designed by Colombian street artist Gleo, is painted on grain elevators, and will be the largest mural ever at 50,000 square feet!

The Teddy Bear Toss is an event at ice hockey games, where fans throw teddy bears on the ice when the home team scores its first goal. The toys are then given to charities. The Hershey Bears will try to break the world record for most teddy bears this Sunday, which is currently 28,815 bears!
