Astronomers are analyzing data from the Dark Energy Survey, which was collecting information on the southern sky for over 5 years. They’ve discovered 139 new minor planets, at the edge of our Solar System, beyond Neptune. The planets were picked out from 7,000,000,000 possible objects, that looked like a bunch of dots!

Plant some pretty perennials, which are flowers that return every year. If it’s still too cold, start some seeds inside.

Have you ever heard of Welsh cake? It’s a flatbread that’s kind of a cross between pancakes and biscuits. The largest Welsh cake in the world was cooked by the Tan Y Castell Bakery in Wales, and it weighed over 63 pounds! They built a 7-foot griddle for the big event.

A fire in Britain was started in an unlikely way. Pigs had eaten a pedometer, worn by one pig to track its steps. After it passed through their digestive systems, the copper from the batteries, started a reaction with the pig poop, and ignited the fire. No pigs or humans were injured.

A 9-year-old Russian boy, is a talented painter, but he doesn’t sell his art. Pavel Abramov exchanges paintings of animals, for donations of pet food and supplies to local animal shelters. He and his mother started the project, Kind Paintbrush, so people around the world can request portraits of their pets!
