Ever since, the group has been fighting to save the Arctic, whales, and the environment. They’ve raised awareness about the damage being done to the Earth, but it’s everyone’s job to protect it!

A drought in Spain this summer, has revealed the 7000-year-old Dolmen of Guadalperal. About 100 large stones, some as tall as 6 feet, stand around an oval space. The stones were mostly covered in water since 1963, when the Valdecañas Reservoir was created by flooding the area. The stones will disappear from view once the water returns.

Honeybees are getting some community help in North Carolina. The group, Bee Downtown, has created a honeybee corridor through some major cities. They’ve installed over 150 beehives on the property of different corporations, providing homes for 9,500,000 honeybees! The bees from each hive cover a 3-mile radius, so the zones overlap, and create a continuous pathway!

Starting in 20 22, the entire country of India will ban single-use plastics. Getting rid of plastic bags, cups and plates, straws, and small bottles, will reduce annual plastic use by 14,000,000 tons. It’s a good start, since most of the plastic ever produced on Earth, is still here, resting in landfills or oceans!

It could have been the most epic game of hide-and-seek ever. A group of 3000 people from Glasgow Scotland had organized a Facebook event, to play hide-and-seek in an IKEA store. The home furnishings store got nervous about the safety of their customers, so they had the police stop the game before it even started!

A woman in Las Vegas Nevada just set a world record for largest hula hoop spun by a female. Getti Kehayova spun a hoop that was over 17 feet in diameter! The hoop only circled her body 3 times, but she had to wear a protective vest to protect her ribs because it was so heavy!

In Bristol England, Steve Smith had a can of bean for dinner. Yes, that’s right. He opened a can of Heinz beans, but it only had one bean in it! The rest of the can was filled with bean juice. The average can holds 465 beans, so I’m sure Heinz will give him a refund!
