62,000-Mile-High Plasmafall On the Sun

Astrophotographer Eduardo Schaberger Poupeau, captured a stunning image of the Sun last month. It shows a wall of plasma that shot up from the surface, 62,000 miles into space, which then cascaded back down like a waterfall. Scientists estimate the plasma was falling at speeds of more than 22,000 miles-per-hour!
