Ascending Earth’s Tallest Mountain

Mount Everest is considered the tallest mountain in the world, but Mauna Kea is actually over 4000 feet taller. It’s just that most of it is underwater. Victor Vescovo and Clifford Kapono took a submarine to the base of Mauna Kea, 16,785-feet-down, then ascended by sub, boat, bike, and foot, to the summit.
