Bouncing Baby Girl

The Richmond Zoo in Virginia, got a hippopotamus for Christmas. Pygmy hippo parents, Iris and Corwin, had a baby girl earlier this month. Pygmy hippos are much smaller than regular hippopotamuses, but they still grow to weigh 600 pounds. There are fewer than 2,500 pygmy hippos left in West Africa’s rainforests, their native habitat.
