A Brazilian surfer broke her own world record. Maya Gabeira was competing in the Nazere Tow Surfing Challenge, when she rode a wave that measured 73.5 feet high. It’s officially the largest wave surfed by a female, 5 feet higher than the wave she surfed 2 years ago. Rodrigo Koxa holds the male record, for an 80-foot-wave.
