Endangered Mouse Is the World’s Oldest

A Pacific pocket mouse living at the San Diego Zoo, is officially the oldest mouse ever. Pat, named after actor Patrick Stewart, is 9 years, 212 days old. That might not seem like a long time, but it’s 5 times longer than the average mouse. Pacific pocket mice were believed extinct, until 19 94.
