Off the Road to Extinction

Australia is home to many endangered animals, but some of them are making a comeback. Marsupials like Gilbert’s pooroos, golden bandicoots, bilbies, and numbats, are part of conservation programs, that are helping to save them from extinction. Marsupials are mammals with pouches, like kangaroos. The only marsupial native to North America, is the opossum.
