Really Really Really Really Old Drops of Water

390,000,000 years ago, long before the age of dinosaurs, some drops of seawater got trapped in rocks. Those pieces of iron pyrite, were recently discovered by researchers in New York. The rocks still hold pockets of liquid, allowing scientists to study a sample of the inland sea, that once covered much of North America.
