Slow-Moving Meteorite

Early Monday morning, some people in Australia witnessed an amazing blue-green fireball, traveling across the sky for 30 seconds. There was no indication that the meteorite hit the Earth’s surface, so it’s possible it passed back out of the atmosphere. The green color was probably caused by burnt magnesium or iron. What a spectacular sight!
