The Desert Is Blooming

Flowers in the desert, need just the right conditions to bloom. During a drought, seeds can lie dormant for years. When rain finally comes, they might all sprout at once in a superbloom. Recent rains have triggered superblooms all over Southern California, and that’s just the beginning. Bigger blooms could peak in April.
